L&#039;obra va ser pintada en la [[plaja]] valenciana de [[El Cabanyal]] i mostra en primer pla la figura d&#039;un chicon que transporta en una cistella la peixca realisada a lo llarc del dia. <br /> <br /> == Descripció ==<br /> <br /> Es tracta d&#039;una composició en la que destaca la lluminositat del conjunt en el que predominen els tons [[blau]] i [[Rosa (color)|rosa]]. La figura principal es mostra en diagonal per damunt dels genolls, du el tors nuet i un capell li protegix la cara de l&#039;implacable sol. Sosté en el braç esquerre una cistella de vímen cobert per un llenç de tela que mou el vent caprichosamente deixant al descobert la peixca.
