Organisació industrial, en economia i producció, és un camp o àrea de coneiximent de teoria de l'empresa que tracta dels sistemes productius i de la relació i llímits entre les estructures de les empreses i els mercats. Tracta assunts com la competència perfecta, el cost de les transaccions, acció de govern o direcció.
És important fer una referència a les formulacions teòriques elaborades al voltant de l'anomenada Teoria de l'Organisació industrial. Va ser Bain (1968) qui va sistematisar les aportacions realisades per numerosos autors i va establir el paradigma conegut com: "Estructura-Conducta-Resultats" com l'element bàsic d'anàlisis i evaluació dels mercats i per a investigar les relacions entre l'estructura industrial i els resultats obtenguts pel subsector corresponent.[1] economia de l'informació, les barreres d'entrada de noves empreses en una situació de competència imperfecta [2] i monopoli,.[3]
