L'Amèrica del Nort és un subcontinent d'Amèrica, que s'estén, geopolíticament, des d'Alaska i Groenlàndia al nort, fins la frontera de Mèxic en Guatemala i Belize al sur. El subcontinent llimita al nort en l'oceà Glacial Àrtic, i al sur en el subcontinent centroamericà. En atres models continentals, com ara el model angloparlant, Amèrica del Nort és un continent que s'estén des d'Alaska fins a l'istme de Panamà, incloent-hi les Antilles.

Amèrica boreal és un sinònim, pero este concepte sovint a soles inclou els Estats Units i Canadà, excloent la zona de Mèxic la qual de vegades es considera dins l'Amèrica Central.
