Lambdoceras
Lambdoceras és un gènero extint dels artiodàctils, de la família Protoceratidae, endèmic d'Amèrica del Nort en el Mioceno i que va viure entre 20.6—13.6 millons d'anys.[1]
Taxonomia
editarLambdoceras va ser nomenat per Stirton en 1967. El seu espècie tipo és Lambdoceras hessei. Va ser relacionat en Prosynthetoceras per Patton en 1969, Patton i Taylor en 1971 i per Patton i Taylor de nou en 1973. Va ser assignat a Protoceratidae per Stirton en 1967, Tedford et al. en 1987 i per Albright en 1999; i a Synthetoceratini per Webb en 1981, Prothero en 1998, Webb et al. en 2003 i Prothero i Ludtke en 2007.[2][3][4][5]
