Es un ratón grande de pelaje suave y mayoritariamente de color marrón oscuro. Tiene las patas y la cola largas igual que el morro, un carácter único de su género. Ilustración con acuarela y lápiz de colores realizada con el asesoramiento de Alistair Ian Spearing Ortiz, traductor científico. És un ratolí gran amb el pelatge suau i majoritàriament de color marró fosc. Té les potes i la cua llargues, igual que el musell, un caràcter únic en el seu gènere.
