English: This picture was taken in Possession Island (Crozet Archipelago) at the site named "the elephant seal pool". This picture was taken in december 2002 by Nicolas Servera. You can see a male of the subantarctic fur seal (Arctocephalus tropicalis) resting on a rock and scraping his head with his hind leg.
Français : Cette photo a été prise sur l'île de la Possession (Archipel de Crozet) sur le sîte nommé "La Mare aux éléphants". Cette photo a été prise en décembre 2002 par Nicolas Servera. Vous pouvez voir un male de l'otarie subantarctique (Arctocephalus tropicalis) qui se repose sur un rocher et se gratte la tête à l'aide de sa patte arrière. |
