| Description |
English: Sesostris wears a short tripartite shendyt and a curled wig. He has lost his traditional attributes-the staff in the left hand and the scepter in his right. The inscription on the base contains an offering formula that promises: "The king may guarantee offerings [to the god] Osiris [that he may give] mortuary offerings of bread, beer, oxen, fowl, and incense to Sesostris." |
