Palaeoloxodon falconeri
El elefant nano de Sicília, mamut nano o mamut de Sicília (Palaeoloxodon falconeri) és una espècie extinta de mamífer proboscídeo família Elephantidae que va viure en el Pleistoceno Superior. En 1867 George Busk va propondre l'espècie Elephas falconeri per a molts dels menuts molar seleccionats del material originalment adscrit per Hugh Falconer a Elephas melitensis.[1][2]
