Trichosurus cunninghami
Trichosurus cunninghami és una espècie de marsupial de la família Phalangeridae. Anteriorment era considerada la mateixa espècie que Trichosurus caninus, pero en 2002 es reclasificó en dos espècies.[1]
Característiques
editarDe la mateixa manera que Trichosurus caninus, habiten en el bosc de esclerófilas humit en el surest d'Austràlia.[2] Durant el dia s'amaguen en buits d'arbres[3] i ixen durant la nit. Habiten altures superiors a 300 metros.[3] La seua dieta inclou les espècies de Acacia,[4][5] en particular Acacia dealbata.[6] Mostra poc dimorfisme sexual.[6] És considerada l'espècie de marsupial més longeva.[7]
