Reason for the nomination:
Possible copyright violation by COM:FOP Japan or COM:FOP Taiwan. Our De minimis guideline, Commons:De minimis#Guidelines, shows a test for evaluating whether a certain image can be hosted under the DM exception.

Here, the currently nominated image are:

  • categorised in relation to several Pokémon characters
  • actually have a filename with a Pokémon character
  • categorised in relation to the Pokémon theme (-> Category:Pokémon trains)
  • it is a valid expectation that the Pokémon livery was the motivation to take the image

These bullet points make for that "the file containing copyrighted work X is less likely to satisfy de minimis" per our guideline.

On the other hand, and different to the section "# obvious FOP issues" above, the vehicles show the protected IP elements in angles that are quite skewed from a frontal perspective (e.g. File:TokyoMonorail 1085 and ANA B777-281 20101212.jpg) and/or only cover a small area of the motif (e.g. File:Meitetsu 2200 Arceus wrapping.jpg) and/or are well-blended into the scenery as a whole (e.g. File:Pokémon train of Tamsui–Xinyi line on Taipei Metro.jpg), so functionally speaking, the actual image is not really a copy of the Pokémon IP material.

I think that at least a discussion of these matters is warranted.
