Cherninia
Cherninia és un gènero extint de temnospóndilo mastodonsáurido. Va viure durant el Triásico mig en lo que hui és la Índia. Esta espècie tenia un enorme cràneu que va anar d'1,4 m (4,6 peus) de llarc. La llongitut del cos es creu que haja segut fins a 4,3 m (14,1 peus) de llongitut.[1]
