Pericoptus frontalis

Pericoptus frontalis és un escarabat de l'arena de la família Scarabaeidae, endèmic de Nova Zelanda que habita vores de riu arenenques i bancs d'arena en Otago. Va ser descrit per primera volta per Thomas Broun en 1904.^[1]^[2] El erizo europeu és un depredador natural de P. frontalis.^[3]
