Aphanelytrum

Aphanelytrum és un gènero monotípico de plantes herbàcees pertanyent a la família de les poáceas.[1] La seua única espècie: Aphanelytrum procumbens Hack., és originària de l'oest d'Amèrica del Sur tropical en els Vages a on es troba en el bosc de montanya humit en Bolívia, Equador, Perú i Colòmbia.

Aphanelytrum procumbens va ser descrita per Eduard Hackel i publicat en Oesterreichische Botanische Zeitschrift 52: 13, text f. 1902.[2]
