Un robot humanoide és un robot dissenyat per a imitar o simular la forma i els moviments d'un ser humà.

Un disseny humanoide pot tindre fins funcionals, tals com l'interacció en ferramentes i entorns humans, en motius experimentals, com l'estudi de la locomoció bípeda, o per a atres fins. En general, els robots humanoides tenen un tors, un cap, dos braços i dos cames, encara que algunes formes de robots humanoides poden modelar només una part del cos, per eixemple, de cintura dalt. Alguns robots humanoides poden tindre caps dissenyats per a replicar les traces facials humans, tals com els ulls i la boca. Els androides són robots humanoides construïts per a semblar-se estèticament als humans. Els robots humanoides actualment són usats com a ferramenta en investigacions científiques.
